Health and Safety Policy Statement

  • PMG Print Management will provide and maintain healthy and safe working conditions in all its operations, and to comply with the regulations as laid down in the ‘Health and Safety Act 1974.’
  • PMG Print Management believes in the active prevention of accidents and ill health, and it is accordingly the Company’s policy to ensure, so far as it is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of its employees.
  • PMG Print Management will, to this end, endeavour to keep up-to-date with current professional expertise, including design, construction and maintenance on all health and safety matters, and to observe all relevant Statutes, Regulations and Codes of Practise, and to set an example in safety behaviour.
  • PMG Print Management will ensure that all employees are instructed in Health and Safety procedures and fire precautions and that these are fully understood, and the Supervisors and Managers with health and safety responsibilities are adequately trained to meet those responsibilities. Also that adequate training is given to the operators in the use of all equipment used on the premises with specific reference to Health and Safety.
  • PMG Print Management recognises its duties to persons other than employees and it is the Company’s policy to ensure, as far as it is reasonably practicable, that the health and safety of such persons is not put at risk by the Company operations.
  • PMG Print Management will provide all necessary safety devices, protective clothing and equipment, provide any necessary training in the usage, and supervise their use. It will also provide adequate first-aid facilities and certified First Aider cover.
  • PMG Print Management will ensure that hygienic standards are at the appropriate level for a safe and healthy working environment.
  • PMG Print Management has a strict ‘No Smoking’ policy.
  • PMG Print Management will ensure that regular inspections are carried out, and that prompt investigation of complaints and accidents take place to prevent their reoccurrence.
  • PMG Print Management will ensure Health and Safety procedures are monitored regularly in line with the latest developments, and any relevant new procedures introduced.
