We were gobsmacked to pick up the print industry’s most sought-after prize this week at a glittering awards ceremony.
The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) awards Print Management Company of the Year based on member votes, so it’s truly given to the company industry professionals think is at the top of its game.
Mike and Ellie Roberts, owners of PMG, were in the room to claim the prize.
“What an amazing way to start PMG’s 30th year in business,” said managing director Mike. “The industry has changed so much in that time, but we’re delighted that PMG continues to thrive due to the dedication and creativity of our brilliant team.
“It’s such an accolade to be voted the best in the industry by your peers and we’re humbled to receive this award again for 2019.”
Commercial Director Ellie added: “We’re thankful to our clients for giving us the opportunity to provide them with clever print solutions, and to the team who work so hard on our clients’ behalf.
“We certainly weren’t expecting this, but it will take pride of place in the office and has given us even more reason to celebrate!”
The evening recognised success and talent across the print industry with comedy from BBC show host Daliso Chaponda and live music from cover band, The Deps, in the Bobby Robson Ballroom at Hilton St. George’s Park in Burton upon Trent.
Winners were announced in four categories on the night: Print Manager; Manufacturer; Associates; and Personality of the Year and followed a day of networking and sharing industry expertise.
PMG has also previously been named Print Management Company of the Year by members of the IPIA in 2009, 2010 and 2011. We have been named runner up every year since 2012.
The IPIA is a print industry, not for profit, membership association. It fulfils a crucial role as an industry ambassador championing print through vigorous, proactive communication and education about print solutions and innovation to the wider market.
